19th January - Kate Andre - Dyeing and All That
Kate lives in Tewkesbury and runs workshops locally and nationally. She will talk and demonstrate about dyeing from start to finish.

2nd February - Janet Stevens - My Quilts and Others
Janet will show and talk about her award winning quilts and others! They are mainly hand applique works.
16th February - Rob Wells - The Albanian Women's Sewing Project
Many of you will be familiar with Di but now her husband will come to talk about the project he has been involved with.
This meeting will be held at The Pavilion, Hatherley Lane, GL51 6PN, and will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm.
2nd March - AGM
Afterwards, Gill will introduce the Journal quilts project for the year.
16th March - Angela Bentley
Angela is a local embroiderer and member of Cotswold Embroiderers. She will give an illustrated talk and show some of her work.

Following our successful retreat last year there will be another day to put aside for sewing at The Reddings.
6th April - Sit and Sew
Time to get on with your own project or with your Journal quilt.
20th April - Jane Davies - Travelling Along The Silk Route
Jane will talk about her travels along one of the Silk Routes and will illustrate with fabrics purchased along the way.

Friday, 21st April - Workshop
Jane will run her workshop 'Silk Road Sensations'. Inspiration and hand stitches inspired by Suzane wall hangings.
The workshop will be in the small hall at The Reddings.
4th May - Making Items for the Exhibition
Bring along ideas and come to sew with your sewing kit and fabrics to make items for the Sales Table at the Exhibition.

18th May - Joan Hodgson and Other
Joan will show us how to sew on Shisha mirrors. A N Other will demonstate Kantha work.

1st June - Penny Armitage - 'From Kuwait to Exmoor'
Penny is a member of the Exe Valley Contemporary Quilt Group. She will talk about her experiences of living abroad and in Britain.
Friday, 2nd June - Workshop
Penny will run her workshop 'Reverse Applique Trees' in the small hall at The Reddings.
15th June - Items for the Exhibition
Another evening of making items for the Sales Table or simply sitting and sewing and completing your workshop item.
6th July - Talk about the Exhibition
Complete your workshop items, make items for the Exhibition or simply sew and chat.
20th July - Summer Social
With news of the Summer Challenge.

7th September - Lesley Brankin - Print, Paint, Stitch
We are lucky to have booked Lesley as she gives a limited number of talks these days. She talks about how she approaches her work, using printing, paint and sewing.

21st September - Show and Tell
Get some of your quilts on show ready for the Exhibition so that they can be sorted for displaying. Also sit and sew items for the Exhibition.
Saturday, 30th September - Sewing Retreat
A day to try and complete items for the Exhibition or for sewing whatever you like.
5th October - Suitcase Collection
Sue and Joan run the Suitcase Collection on behalf of the Contemporary Quilters. We shall see some spectacular A3-sized quilts that travel around in a suitcase.

20th - 22nd October - Malvern Autumn Quilt Show

Sheila is a textile artist living in South Wales. She will give a talk on her work and the courses that she runs.

Jill is a contemporary quilter fom Hampshire who will talk about the ideas that set her off making her quilts.

Save these dates so that you can help at our tri-annual Exhibition.
7th December - Christmas Social
Bring a Secret Santa present valued at up to £5 to put into the Lucky Dip box - preferably a needlework notion or you can make something.
We shall be making a Christmas card during the evening so bring your basic sewing kit and some embellishments. Mince pies and punch will be the refreshments for the evening and, to get us in the mood, wear something Chrismassy - plum pudding earrings, for instance, or a tinsel scarf.
